Canally sits at the junction of two of Australia’s largest and most reliable irrigation rivers, the Murray and Murrumbidgee.
Canally comprises of predominantly red sandy loams and light sandy clay soils that are free draining, being ideal for horticulture. Significant investment was made to quantify the soil potential and its production optionality.
Canally is a large-scale aggregation of approximately 9,000Ha, with over 60% of the land ideally-suited to growing almonds. This is one of the largest, connected, horticultural aggregations in Australia.
This investment directly employs 60 locals and supports many more indirectly.
