The XI International Irrigation Symposium on Irrigation of Horticultural Crops visits Sandmount Farms

Agricultural scientists from more than 20 countries recently visited GO.FARM’s large-scale horticultural operations in northern Victoria as part of the XI International Symposium on Irrigation of Horticultural Crops. Hosted by Agriculture Victoria and the International Society of Horticultural Sciences, the symposium brought together global experts to explore smarter irrigation and water management approaches in the face of climate change. As part of the program, delegates toured GO.FARM’s Sandmount Farms near Katunga, showcasing the company’s transformation of former dairy land into high-value almond and tomato production through significant investment in water, soil and infrastructure.
