  • Drivers Licence, and other farming based licences & certificates are looked on favourably.
  • Experience in successfully managing large scale cropping properties.
  • Experience in leading contractors, machinery operators and farm team.

Learning and Development Manager

Key Selection Criteria/ Experience:

  • Degree qualification in a human resources, or related discipline.
  • 5+ Years of Human Resource leadership experience
  • Experience in HR software and utilising it to its full potential.

  • Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders

Operations Manager

Lake Boga, VIC

Responsible for leading the irrigated summer & winter cropping operations (field tomatoes, oilseeds and cereals), farming team, planning and procurement, with a dedicated focus on WH&S, quality, productivity, efficiency and cost control

As an effective leader and good communicator, you will ensure your team are trained and skilled in their areas and be committed to a culture of safety.

With competent computer skills and financial literacy, it is important you can address the following criteria:
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in farm operations and management
• Proven experience in crop planning and a proactive approach to modern farming techniques
• Knowledge of best practice for cropping (dryland & irrigated)
• Ability to instruct staff and direct them towards the use of any new technology or procedures
• Lead & coach staff on budgets and provide assistance in the creation of operational and capital budgets.
• Financial experience – budgets, reporting, forecasting and procurement
• Workforce planning and staff recruitment
• Highly organised and flexible
• Tertiary qualification(s) in agriculture, or equivalent (preferred)
