Looking to kick-start your career in agriculture?

Our Graduate Program offers a hands-on introduction to the agriculture industry and an opportunity to enrich your knowledge through exposure to our class-leading projects.

GO.FARM’s Graduate Program is for university graduates with a passion for agriculture and offers applicants a choice between two streams:

Farmland Graduate Program

Spend 12 months based at one of GO.FARM’s transformational farming projects. Our Farmland Program offers hands-on experience in farming operations, such as irrigation programming, machine operation, harvest logistics and working with advanced agricultural technologies. Alongside this, you’ll gain exposure to office-based business processes and safety protocols, all while working within a dynamic team to develop key skills and industry relationships.

Applications for the 2026 program close on 31 July 2025.

Agribusiness Graduate Program

Over 18-months, spend time between one of GO.FARM’s farming projects and our Melbourne Farm Hub. Our Agribusiness program will expose you to all functional areas of the business, providing a baseline acumen of daily operations. On-farm placement provides hands-on experience in farming processes, followed by time in the office to develop expertise across key areas such as investment, finance, accounts, communications, research, and HR.

Applications for the 2026 program close on 31 July 2025.

Hear what some of GO.FARM’s graduates have to say about their time in the program

“My first two months at GO.FARM have immersed me in the operations of horticultural farming, a completely new experience for me. I am excited to continue learning across the various teams at GO.FARM”

Darcie grew up on a broadacre and cattle farm in north-west Victoria and went on to complete a Bachelor of Agricultural Science followed by a Master’s in Agribusiness at the University of Melbourne. She is currently completing her farm rotation at Sandmount Farms, where she has played an active role in the almond harvest.

Darcie Chamberlain – Agribusiness Graduate 2025

“The transition to Australia was seamless thanks to the support of GO.FARM. I’ve had the opportunity to gain valuable exposure across various aspects of the business and I’m excited to continue expanding my knowledge with the GO.FARM Team.”

Oliver hails from New Zealand’s North Island where he studied a Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture) at Lincoln University. He grew up on a dairy farm and fostered a deep passion for the agricultural sector, which has inherently led him to GO.FARM. He is based at Petro Station, GO.FARMs largest dryland cropping operation, for the first half of his graduate placement and is enjoying learning about Australian agriculture.

Oliver Assen – Farmland Graduate 2025

“So far, I’ve really enjoyed the graduate program, it has given me a broad range of experiences and allowed me to learn a lot about the development side of agriculture. The biggest highlight so far has been the opportunity to ask questions and learn directly from experts on the ground.”

Mark grew up on a sugarcane farm and has been exposed to the almond industry, sparking his interest in agriculture. He studied a Bachelor of Agriculture Science at the University of Adelaide, where he developed a strong foundation in the industry. Mark is placed on GO.FARM’s cool-climate grape development in Tasmania for the first 6 months of his Graduate program.

Mark Armstrong – Agribusiness Graduate 2025

“Coming from a predominantly agricultural background, GO.FARM has been able to immerse me into their horticulture systems where opportunities are endless. Making the move to Australia was a smooth transition thanks to the team at Sandmount, their knowledge and experience made settling in feel effortless.”

Former Graduates

Joe Barlow

Graduate 2019

“The graduate program immerses you in the business and means that you have the opportunity to understand the business from top to bottom from very early on in your career.”

Growing up on a family-run farm and grain business, Joe Barlow has an extensive history and a deep understating of agriculture in rural Australia.

Joe’s ability to immerse himself in the company has been fundamental in his successful career progression, from his time as a graduate to his position as Head of Farmland Development where his love for agriculture has only grown.

Anna Keenan

Graduate 2021

“Through the program, I’ve had exposure to all aspects of the business and now I’m honing in on the investor relations side.”

Communications Manager, Anna Keenan joined GO.FARM as an intern in 2021 and has developed the skills and knowledge to assist in managing GO.FARM’s investors.

While Anna grew up in Melbourne, visits to her grandparents’ farm in Yarrawonga planted a seed for a career in agriculture. Having studied Agricultural Science at The University of Melbourne and majored in economics, Anna has taken that knowledge and brought it to life in ways she wouldn’t have thought possible.

Joe Gibson

Graduate 2022

“I have completed six months on farm and am now in the middle of my stint in the office doing financial research and accounting. It’s been a wonderful learning experience.”

Growing up on a sheep and cropping farm in Western Victoria’s Tatyoon, Joe Gibson knew he always wanted to give back to the broader agricultural industry. For Joe, undertaking a graduate role with GO.FARM Australia was the perfect opportunity to do just that.

Ultimately, Joe wants to forge a career where he can maximise farm productivity, improving farm operations across Australian agriculture.

After the Graduate Program, Joe spent time as an Investment and Research Analyst, and is now the Cropping Manager for Goulburn Valley.

Rachel Hosking

Graduate 2023

“The Graduate program provided me with exposure to various teams at GO.FARM, where I learnt about the business and the broader agricultural industry.”

Rachel grew up in Melbourne and, despite having no prior farming experience before joining GO.FARM, developed an interest in the industry while completing a Bachelor of Agriculture with a major in Economics at the University of Melbourne.

During the Graduate program, Rachel completed a rotation at Petro Station, followed by rotations through various teams at the Melbourne Farm Hub.

Upon completing the Graduate Program, Rachel joined the Investment team as an Investment Analyst.

Olivia Hall

Graduate 2024

“The year at Sandmount Farms allowed me to learn a completely different way of farming. I spent majority of the year in the horticulture team and made invaluable connections in the region I was in.”

Growing up on a sheep and beef farm in Central Otago, New Zealand and studying a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Animal Science at Lincoln University. Olivia didn’t anticipate she would end up working in an Almond Orchard. She got to build on her passion for people, agriculture and knowledge during her time as a Farmland Graduate.

She is now working in the Melbourne Farm Hub as a Communications Associate.
